Demonstratives are those little words that indicate which object(s) the speaker is talking about, e.g. this book is good and that book is bad

Notice that the demonstrative pronouns den, det, denne and dette are noun class determiners (they change according to the noun). For example, you'ld say det hus and den bil because of et hus and en bil.
