What is it?

Verb Tense is the name of the form of verb you use when referring to different points in time, i.e. He eats his food is Present Tense whereas He ate his food is the Past Tense.

The base form of a verb is called The Infinitive, e.g. at spise (to eat).

In this course we will deal with 6 tenses:

  • Present Tense
  • Past Tense
  • Present Perfect
  • Past Perfect
  • Future Tense
  • The Imperative
The Rules

Whichever tense or verb you use the verb structure remains the same regardless of the subject (the do'er)!

As you can see below the verb doesn't change. It remains as er.
