Danes are usually quite punctual. It is frowned upon if you are late even for an informal party.

There are approx. 55 weeks in a year and each of these are numbered. Danes often refer to these week numbers when talking about an upcoming event.

So when planning a holiday Danes would say: Lad os tage afsted i uge 26 (Let's go in week 26).

The Danish date format is dd/mm/yyyy e.g. 19/05/1996.

Days and months are all written in small letters. No capitals.
