The Past Tense of the verb is used to refer to events that happened in the past.

The Rules

Danish verbs take four different forms in the Past Tense

1. [infinitive verb] + (e)de

2. [infinitive verb] + te

3. [infinitive verb] (suffix omitted)

4. Vowel and form change!
