Danish people have a kind of directness in the way they communicate with one another. They will not fuss around with too many phrases of politeness and are straight to the point.

When encountering Danes for the first time this directness could be misinterpreted as slightly abrupt, perhaps even rude! But they are not. This is just purely a way for Danes to keep things simple.
