Dannebrog
The Danish flag, Dannebrog, plays a significant role in Danish celebrations.
You see the flags at birthdays, on cakes, just about for any kind of celebration the flag is involved.
To the Danes the flag signifies happiness and good times and to a much lesser extent national pride (of course the exception here being football matches and other sports events(!)).
