Food Culture
Food plays a big part in the lives of Danes. Social gatherings will usually involve food of some sort as it is all part of hyggen.
Danes especially like kaffe og kage. Coffee or tea is served with biscuits, cookies or cake.
Remember, in Denmark you say tak for mad when finishing a meal served to you (usually not in restaurants, mind you).
