The Kingdom of Denmark is a constitutional monarchy and includes Denmark, Greenland (Grønland) and the Faroe Islands (Færøerne).

It is also one of the oldest monarchies in the world being more than 1,000 years old.

Queen Margrethe II, Dronning Margrethe II, resides in Amalienborg in central Copenhagen.
