Danes and Time
Danes are usually quite punctual. It is frowned upon if you are late even for an informal party.
There are approx. 55 weeks in a year and each of these are numbered. Danes often refer to these week numbers when talking about an upcoming event.
So when planning a holiday Danes would say: Lad os tage afsted i uge 26 (Let's go in week 26).
The Danish date format is dd/mm/yyyy e.g. 19/05/1996.
Days and months are all written in small letters. No capitals.
We're working really hard to get all the sounds ready for you and certain parts of the website is still under construction,
so we apologise in advance for any incomplete features. But please have a go and enjoy anyway :o)
