Question Structure
What is it?
In the sentence structure for questions you put the verb before the subject as in: Sover du? ([lit: sleep you?]).
The Rules
The word order is:
V = Verb (the action)
S = Subject (the do'er) IO = Indirect Object (and to whom) DO = Direct Object (what/who is 'actioned')
V = Verb (the action)

The Exception
However, you can have a normal structure and still pose it is as a question if you add ikke at the end.
Du | giver | hende | blomsterne, | ikk'? |
